I was doing the habitual going-down-your-buddy-list-reading-random-people's-away-messages thing, and I came across one that said simply "out LOVING life!" in hot pink. At first, I wanted to vomit. But then, I realized I was actually kinda jealous, because I can't really remember the last time I was that enthusiastic about anything. And then, I noticed the hot pink again, and went back to vomiting.

So I was drumming today and I got a pretty decent sized blister on my ring finger, except instead of looking like a normal blister, it was bright red. I ignored it and kept playing, and at some point during a slammin' solo, the blister RUPTURED OPEN AND BLOOD EXPLODED OUT LIKE WATER FROM A COLLAPSED DAM AND GOT ALL OVER MY HAND, STICKS, AND A COUPLE OF DRUMS.
It was awesome.
