I cut my thumb today stripping wire for my car. Right on the knuckle, right on the veins on top. Pretty deep, as in through the vein.

At first I didn't know what happened. It didn't hurt, but there was blood squirting all over the driveway and I couldn't figure out why. Then I felt it running down my hand and arm, and then I realized I had just cut my thumb.

I wrapped it in a paper towel and sat down 'cause I was light headed and all that fun, and then I tortured myself with hydrogen peroxide, then finally took off the paper towel.

The wound is approximately a HALF INCH slit. It looks like a small paper cut. I have worse scars on my other thumb just from scraping it on various car parts.

And then I bent my thumb. And the split opened and I could see a good ways into the inside of it. And then it started bleeding profusely again.
