[ this one's for you]

Here's my schedule this summer, tentatively:

I'm taking economics at Brookhaven at 7:30am (gross) on mondays and wednesdays. This goes 'til 9:30, but I'll probably usually go to the lab class afterwards, which will take longer. But I'll still be home long before 1pm, which is around when I wake up normally.

I'm also taking self-paced PE, which is pretty sweet. If anyone wants to go walking with me, just let me know. I only have to walk for like, 20 minutes at a time. It'll be fun.

Both those classes end on July 7th. After that I have no good plans, only lists of things I need to do. These include going to california, boston, austin, and galveston, along with hanging out with lots of people.

In case you didn't understand my previous post, I finally got a new dashboard in my car. It's brushed aluminum, and looks pretty awesome, if I don't say so myself. It's also held in place with six long screws into the metal frame of the car, so there's no way a crowbar is going to remove my new stereo without completely destroying the entire front of my car. I'm looking forward to that.

I also put an air conditioner in my room, which is exciting, cause now I can have my computer and two monitors on, and also have people in my room at the same time! And since I do my best never to leave my room, being hot in here all the time sucked.

Here's an update on spanish 3. This is a fun story:

I got my report card say, a week ago, and of course my parents got to it first and read it. I failed the last nine weeks of spanish with a 65, and failed the exam with a 54. This meant a 66 average for second semester, which, obviously, is failing. However, I had a 90 average first semester, and you're supposed to be able to average pass this year. My final mark is a 78. But my credits earned said ".5". Which is ridiculous. I also got an 85 final mark in AMAT, despite having a 93 first semester and 97 second.

Well, as it turns out, the computer made an error (it's always the computer's fault) and I was supposed to get a full year of spanish credit (yay distinguished achievment plan!), and I was supposed to have a 95 in AMAT. Supposedly, both these things are fixed, but I'm supposed to check back the first week of school just in case.

The obvious moral of this story is: we should be able to give our teachers grades, because most of them can't do simple math.
